Thank you, Don, for this fine collection. I've been a blues lover for 60 years. For younger listeners who might not know, Chris Bell lifted "If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right" from a 1972 song written by Stax Records writers Carl Hampton, Raymond Jackson & Homer Banks. The first recording of it that was released was a big hit for Luther Ingram. At least 20 others have covered it: soul, hot 100, & country artists. But other than those lyrics, it is a different song.
